Privacy Policy

Overview

Sunriser is a personal task board. We collect only what we need to keep your tasks in sync and your account secure. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers.

What we collect

• Account info: your name, email, and avatar from your sign-in provider.
• Your tasks, columns, and board preferences.
• Background image choices and display settings you save.
• Basic technical logs (errors, timestamps) for reliability.

Google user data

If you connect Google Calendar, Sunriser requests access to your calendar list and events so we can display your schedule and sync tasks into a Sunriser-created calendar. Specifically, we use:

• calendar.calendarlist.readonly — to read your calendar list.
• calendar.events.readonly — to display upcoming events alongside your tasks.
• calendar.app.created — to create and manage events only on calendars Sunriser creates.

Sunriser's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it (except where you explicitly request support, for security investigations, or to comply with the law). Calendar data is rendered in your browser and is not stored on our servers beyond short-lived caching.

How we use data

To sign you in, sync your board across devices, display your calendar, and keep the service running. That's it.

Storage and security

Your data is stored with our infrastructure provider behind authenticated, row-level-secured connections. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and used only to call the APIs you authorized.

Your choices

• Disconnect Google Calendar anytime from the user menu.
• Revoke Sunriser's access to your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Request account or data deletion by emailing the address below.
